Feature Updates
Circuit Simulation
General
- Support for BSIM-SOI 100.1.0 model has been implemented.
Design Editing and Layout
AEL Interfaces
- AEL function, db_create_fig_group_from_selected(), added for creating a group from the selected object(s) in the design.
EM Simulation
General
- The various xxPro tools render arcs more finely.
RFPro
- Beta functionality is available to export a SIPro or RFPro view to an EMPro view for an FDTD analysis.
- Note: An EMPro early access version is required to open such EMPro view.
Top Fixed Issues
Data Display
General
- Fixed creating specifications from one object and removing a specification.
- DDS Python - Fixed changing trace colors reverting back to default color.
Design Cloud
General
- Fixed an issue where a Design Cloud Lite simulation fails if a `upl` file was used before.
- Fixed an issue in Design Cloud where files may have been uploaded when shared roots were configured.
- Fixed an issue where the current upload file is not displayed after opening the workspace again after having it saved earlier in the design.
HSD
- Fixed a Design Cloud related issue where IBIS/AMI simulations could report a "Error creating portable netlist:" error.
RF Microwave
- Fixed a merge issue that occurred when running a simulation with Design Cloud.
. Error Logged: "Merging dataset failed: 'dsappend' failed.
. Exception occurred: Unable to append variables in source dataset".
EM Simulation
General
- Fixed an issue in xxPro that could lead to a hoops memory access error.
FEM
- Fixed an issue in the RFPro-FEM generation 2 simulation flow that could lead to an unexpected open circuit.
- Fixed an issue that could lead to unexpected disconnects in a design.
- Fixed an issue so that dot pins on an edge properly resolve to a sheet port.
Momentum
- Fixed an issue that caused a failure to retrieve Momentum result data. This issue could be triggered by metal bias in the substrate definition.
RFPro
- Fixed an issue with RFPro-FEM Generation 2 dealing with meshless vias that could lead to an unexpected disconnect in the circuit.
- Fixed an issue that could lead to an open circuit in of a multi-layout setup with multiple reference pins on cover.
- Fixed an issue that could crash RFPro when having the mesh display open while re-running the analysis.
- Fixed an issue to properly preserve the mesh settings on a dielectric substrate layer.
- Fixed an issue that could lead to an incorrect alignment of Smart Mount stacked instances.
- Fixed an issue to properly preserve OA parameter values that are overridden in RFPro.
- RFPro can now deal with Smart Mount stacked instances that have the 'Map Layer and Align' option unchecked.
HSD
EM - SIPro/PIPro
- Fixed an issue to fix greying out the project tree node when the part, net, instance... is set invisible.
Quantum
General
- A crash linked to the extraction of quantum parameters in relatively large circuits using QuantumPro's Energy Participation Analysis has been resolved.
