In order to install and use the Evaluation version of the Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler for Windows product, you must have already installed a supported Microsoft development product. Please see the System Requirements in the Release Notes for more information. If you do not already have a supported Microsoft development product installed, you may download a free 90-day trial version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008* from Microsoft. This will allow for full functionality of the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler for Windows during your evaluation. If, at the end of evaluation, you choose to purchase a Commercial or Academic license for Intel Visual Fortran Compiler for Windows, you will then be able to download a full version of the product that includes Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell and Libraries*. This will allow you to develop, build and run Fortran applications without the purchase of additional Microsoft software. You can also use the product with a separately purchased license of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, 2005 or 2003. Student and Classroom licenses do not include Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell and Libraries* and must be used with a separately obtained supported Microsoft development product.
