TECE Instal-Therm HCR v4.13
Instal-Therm HCR is designed for the design of surface and radiator heating systems, as well as cooling systems, based on architectural drawings. Drawings can be imported and exported from AutoCAD. Data is entered either by creating a schematic—a flat axonometric projection—or by creating a network drawing on a projection. Afterward, comprehensive calculations for hydraulic and thermal systems can be performed, specifically:
- selection of pipe and fitting diameters;
- automatic selection of tees, manifolds, fittings, and couplings;
- system balancing using control valves;
- selection of the required head for pumps located in sections or in the system’s mixing valves;
- selection of pipe insulation;
- thermal and hydraulic calculations for heating surfaces with automatic selection of the optimal supply (inlet) temperature;
- selection of radiators, taking into account the cooling of the working fluid in the piping.

The program was developed by the Polish company instalSOFT. They also developed software for Uponor and a dozen other companies (the programs differ only in their equipment databases).
