ANSYS SPEOS 2023R2

Description

ANSYS SPEOS 2023R2

What's New

The new release of Ansys Speos delivers powerful capabilities that speed time to result, improve simulation accuracy, and expand interoperability with other Ansys products.

Optimization

Speos objects, or geometry, are based on photometric targets, including studies of the influence of parameters. Decreases set-up time by providing direct access to all available parameters and measurements from the simulation.

Block Recording

Block recording permits optical designs built with history tracking. Block recording in Speos 2023 R2 is more concise for improved readability.

Speos GPU - ray file support

Simulations defined with ray file sources now run with Speos GPU direct simulation, providing the same result accuracy with GPU speed. Any illumination project can now benefit from GPU speed thanks to the support of ray file.

Interactive Live Preview

Speos 2023 R2 introduces a brand-new explorative workflow using Live Preview. Any modification in the definition of Speos objects is seen almost instantaneously thanks to the update button powered by Speos GPU.

Speos Sensor System

Speos Camera sensor permits designers to make the acquisition of the scene, accounting for lighting conditions, and dynamics. Speos Sensor System is based on EMVA 1288 standard.

Lightguide Trimming on Both Sides

Speos 2023 R2 introduces a new parameter to control lightguide homogeneity. It’s now possible to trim prisms on both sides. Like other lightguide parameters, it can be constant, defined by a table, or using control points.
