Meteonorm 8.2

Description

Meteonorm 8.2
Meteonorm software is a widely used software in fields such as photovoltaic simulation, photothermal, and building energy consumption. Its built-in data mainly comes from over 8000 meteorological stations and five geostationary satellites worldwide. Based on radiation data from multiple meteorological stations and numerical interpolation algorithms, meteorological data at any latitude and longitude can be calculated.

At present, Meteonorm software has been updated to version 7.3, which has the following main characteristics compared to previous versions:

Global coverage: Data comes from over 8000 meteorological stations and five geostationary satellites worldwide;

Data time period: The year span of the irradiation data source is between 1991 and 2010 or 1996 and 2015, and other parameters are between 2000 and 2009;

Time granularity: The software can generate data in months, days, hours, or minutes;

Historical time series: The radiation and environmental temperature data for historical hours are mainly updated irregularly from 2010 to present;

Historical monthly data: Real time monthly data can be obtained from software downloads;

Extreme year data: P10 and P90 data can be obtained from software to simulate extreme situations;

Third party data import: supported;

Data format: 36 output formats (compatible with most software), such as CSV, TMY2, TMY3, EPW, PVSol, PVSyst, Polysun, SAM, etc;

Complex interpolation method: The built-in interpolation model can calculate radiation data for typical meteorological years at any location around the world;

Aerosol: Using the Chris Gueymard Global Calibration Grid dataset, with a time span of 2000-2015 and a spatial resolution of 0.5 °;

Uncertainty: providing relevant research on data sources and uncertainty;

Urban climate: can simulate the urban heat island effect;

Climate change prediction: includes three IPCC scenarios and allows for prediction of data up to 2100;

Terrain analysis: With a global 90x90m terrain model, users can customize the horizon;

Multi parameter selection: The Metenor contains over 30 different meteorological parameters
