PROKON Structural Analysis and Design is a suite of over thirty structural analysis, design and detailing programs. The first PROKON programs were developed in 1989, and today PROKON is used worldwide in over eighty countries. The suite is modular in nature, but its true power lies in the tight integration between analysis, design and detailing programs. PROKON Structural Analysis and Design includes several analysis modules for calculating deflections and design forces in structural members. At the core lies Frame Analysis, a general-purpose finite element analysis package that integrates with the steel, concrete and timber design modules. Separate modules are also available for special or simple tasks: Plane Stress/Strain Analysis, Single Span Beam Analysis and Beam on Elastic Support Analysis. The PROKON Structural Analysis and Design suite includes a number of modules with which you can design most types of steel members. Some modules interact with the Frame Analysis and Single Span Beam Analysis, allowing you to effortlessly post-process analysis results.
