STAAD Foundation Advanced 2026 (v26.00.00) is the next-generation release of Bentley's specialized software for the modeling, analysis, and design of foundation structures, available from June 16, 2026. This version represents a major evolution from its predecessor, featuring a significantly enhanced user interface and advanced analysis and design capabilities.

• Eurocode Support: Foundation analysis and design in accordance with Eurocode 2 (EN 1992-1-1:2004).

• Geotechnical Compliance: Stability checks (bearing and sliding) in accordance with Eurocode 7 (EN 1997-1:2004). Optionally, bearing pressure calculations are available per Annex D of Eurocode 7.

AI-Powered Assistance

• Bentley Copilot: AI-powered assistance to improve usability and productivity, available as a Technical Preview.

Core Analysis and Design Capabilities

• Foundation Types Supported: Design of mat and raft foundations (with or without piles), isolated, combined, and pile-cap foundations.

• Modeling: Physical-based substructure modeling, import from STAAD.Pro with change tracking, and DXF drawing import for complex mat geometries.

• Analysis: Finite element analysis using the STAAD.Pro engine, rigid and FE-based methods for various foundations, and parallel processing for multiple foundation objects.

• Design: Flexure design per ACI 318 (2014 & 2019), IS 456:2000, and Eurocode 2. Includes punching shear, one-way shear, and crack width checks.

• Optimization: Automatic determination of optimum footing dimensions and pile configurations with convergence tracking.

• Reporting: Extensive report and drawing generation for deliverables.
