Siemens NX Introduces Enhancements to Give Users More AI and Generative Design Capabilities
Customers can now use NX X and Zel X cloud software to facilitate cross-discipline, cross-functional collaboration

Siemens Digital Industry Software has announced several new features for its product engineering software, NX™. As part of Siemens Xcelerator's portfolio of solutions, the enhancements to NX are designed to help designers and manufacturers across a wide range of industries deliver better, more optimized products to market faster.

Launch of NX X

Building on the foundation of the NX product, NX™ X software allows users to access it from the cloud and introduces Siemens' embedded data management module based on the product lifecycle management software, Teamcenter®, which utilizes information securely stored in Siemens' cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) infrastructure to help users unlock a higher level of NX applications, enabling greater flexibility, scalability and collaboration.

NX X is an enhanced cloud-based product engineering software that supports desktop installation and browser streaming via AWS cloud services. In addition, NX X offers secure data management for seamless collaboration and enhanced PLM capabilities through Teamcenter® X software, which not only gives users more flexibility and local collaboration capabilities, but also helps them reduce IT management time. NX X offers a flexible and scalable license model that gives customers more adaptable and cost-effective access to NX add-on modules and advanced features. With more than 100 available products and extensions, organizations can gain insight into the add-ons that are right for their workflow and customize them to fit their project needs. In addition, NX X can be used in conjunction with Siemens' new Zel X™ software, a next-generation, browser-based engineering application built on the same architecture as NX, which integrates with other Siemens Xcelerator software solutions, such as NX, to help streamline manufacturing and shop floor operations.

Immersive design space of the future for engineers and designers

NX™ Immersive Explorer software will give users a gaming-grade immersive experience, allowing them to immersively perform design reviews, virtual debugging and sign-off in highly realistic environments, both on the desktop and in virtual reality. NX Immersive Explorer will be available in 2024, supporting all major HMD hardware options, allowing users to immerse themselves in a hyper-realistic, interactive environment, gaining valuable insight early in the design process and reducing the cost of creating physical prototypes. the entire design process from a new perspective.
