The VERICUT Reviewer incorporates all the functionality of NC Review mode in a stand-alone viewer that does not use a license. The Reviewer can play forward and backward while removing and replacing material. You can rotate, pan and zoom just like normal VERICUT, and the cut stock can be measured using all the standard X-caliper tools. The "Reviewer" file can be saved at any point in a VERICUT session. VERICUT is an advanced solids-based software program that interactively simulates CNC machining. The program supports milling, drilling, turning, mill/turn, and EDM operations. VERICUT enables NC programmers to verify the accuracy and quality of the NC program using a computer. Inefficient motion or programming errors that could potentially ruin the part, damage the fixture, or break the cutter can be corrected before the program is run on an NC machine tool. With VERICUT, manufacturers increase productivity, improve product quality, reduce NC programming time, improve the efficiency, reduce scrap and rework, increase safety, and provide a training tool for new programmers and machine tool operators. VERICUT features a direct interface with NX which automatically transfers all NC program and tooling information to VERICUT. Design, Stock, and Fixture models are also automatically transferred to VERICUT in their proper orientation. VERICUT works with G-codes and NX-CLS files.
