Intersect 2025 is SLB's strategic framework designed to fundamentally reshape the company for the digital and energy transition era. It's not a single product but a holistic program encompassing cultural change, digital transformation, and sustainability integration.

The core idea is to "intersect" three powerful forces:

  1. Digital & Technology: Leveraging data, AI, and automation.

  2. Culture & People: Fostering a new, more agile, and innovative workplace culture.

  3. Sustainability & Decarbonization: Positioning SLB as a leader in the energy transition, not just oil and gas.

Key Pillars and Objectives

The program is built around several key pillars:

  1. Digital at Scale: Moving beyond pilot projects to fully integrated digital solutions across the entire company and for clients. This includes:

    • The Delfi™ digital platform (AI-powered subsurface ecosystem).

    • Widespread use of automation in operations (e.g., autonomous drilling).

    • Digital twins for wells and fields.

  2. Cultural Transformation (The "Blue" Culture): Shifting from a traditional, hierarchical "oilfield services" model to a more agile, technology-focused, and collaborative culture. This involves new ways of working, talent development, and a focus on innovation.

  3. Sustainability & New Energy Systems: A strategic pivot to diversify beyond core oil & gas services. Key areas include:

    • Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS)

    • Geothermal Energy
