Emerson Process Management has launched its Roxar Tempest 7.0 integrated reservoir engineering software suite. The new release operates with Roxar’s RMS reservoir modeling software and builds on previous versions of the simulation and history-matching software. Emerson says the five modules can be used either as an integrated unit or individually. “The fast and accurate reservoir performance predictions, history matching, uncertainty quantification, and economic evaluations generated through Roxar Tempest will help inform operators’ economic and field development decision-making,” said Kjetil Fagervik, managing director, Roxar Software Solutions. “The result will be a mitigation of risk, the effective and efficient allocation of capital and resources, and increased oil & gas recovery.”
