ENVI Repository for Collaborative Workflows

• Cross-Platform Server: New ENVI Repository enables automated management of file dependencies across multiple machines, including deep learning models, custom tasks with associated code, and spectral libraries

• Simplified Sharing: Files can be uploaded (published) from the Share menu in ENVI Modeler or main menu; dependencies are automatically downloaded and placed in accessible locations without conflict

• Workflow Distribution: Create and share reusable image processing workflows across organizations—ideal for remote sensing experts enabling teammates to leverage their expertise

• Install & Run: Team members can install published workflows directly from the Repository Browser and run them against their own data

Spectral Detection and Classification Enhancements

• 2-4x Faster Processing: Spectral detection and classification algorithms have been refactored, delivering 2 to 4 times faster processing speed

• Covariance Regularization: New regularization options added to tasks requiring covariance transform, improving spectral detection accuracy by suppressing noise and clutter for better signal-to-noise ratio

• Updated Algorithms: Multiple tasks now include covariance regularization parameters:

  • Constrained Energy Minimization, Mahalanobis Distance Classification, Matched Filter
