Pythagoras CAD+GIS 2025

Description

Pythagoras CAD+GIS 2025
Today, there are many specialized programs available for surveyors, and beginners often wonder which program to start with. It is important to understand that you will never find the “perfect” program. You may come across statements on the Internet such as “I only work in GeoniCS, CREDO, AutoCad” — but these are nothing more than personal opinions. Each program is designed to solve a specific range of tasks. What is suitable for a cadastral engineer may seem useless to a topographer or someone working on a construction site.

Therefore, let's immediately outline the range of tasks for Pythagoras CAD:
- For beginners. If you have never used geodetic programs before, Pythagoras CAD is suitable for learning, as the program is very easy to master, has detailed instructions, and Pythagoras CAD solves almost all typical tasks in the field of geodesy.
- For cadastre. It is not very suitable, as it does not support the main formats for describing cadastral plots (for Ukraine, these are IN4 and the new XML formats). For cadastre, I recommend learning how to use Digitals.
- For topographers. Suitable. It allows you to quickly draw a topographic plan in conventional symbols, construct contours, etc. However, many organizations have a standard for drawing topographic plans in a particular program. For example, in my work, I keep all field plans, sketches, and working drawings in Pythagoras CAD, but when I hand over a project, I have to convert the drawing to the company's standards (AutoCad-based program)
- For a construction surveyor. This is the ideal option, as it allows you to maintain a geodetic map of the project with all the data (justification diagram, import master plan, construct working drawings, etc.)
