EMC Studio v7.0

Description

EMC Studio elevates the product development process to a higher level by seamlessly integrating the model generation process and systems simulation methodology. The result is a truly revolutionary hierarchical design approach. This approach improves the effectiveness of the whole simulation process by closing the gap between several until now isolated simulation methods. EMC Studio is a powerful program package for the sophisticated computer analysis of EMC-problems. EMC Studio was specially created to address engineers working with EMC-problems appearing in large systems like automobiles, aircrafts, ships or computer systems. EMC Studio applies most efficient computational techniques such as Method of Moments (MoM), Method of Auxiliary Sources (MAS), Transmission Line Methods (MTL) and Network Analysis (SPICE/PSPICE/HSPICE or DOLPHIN-SMASH VHDL-AMS solvers) in the EMC Modules to calculate: Cross Talk Electromagnetic Interference Immunity against Electromagnetic Fields Typical laboratory configurations (Stripline, BCI ...) EMC Studio supports the full EMC process chain. It can help with early concept decisions, simulate the bench level testing of subsystems and calculate the behaviour of the complete system in later development stages. For EMI-analysis, sophisticated antenna calculation features are implemented. This makes EMC Studio a powerful antenna calculation program. Antennas can be created, analyzed, using the multiple post processing features and optimized for best performance. What's New in EMC Studio v7.0 New features are now available: New Advanced Tools for Vehicle Glass Antenna Construction Extended Functionality for Multi Task Calculation Flexible Definition of Z Level for Infinite Ground Plane Advanced Control of Sources and Fields Calculation Parameters Support of BICGSTAB Matrix Solver in EM Analysis Type Advanced Construction of Impressed Current Sources New Stochastic Analysis Method LF Magnetic Field Analysis Type. New Features and Improvements Near Field Source. New Features and Improvements System Diagram and Schematic. New Features and Improvements More Features Enhancements Full Text New Advanced Tools for Vehicle Glass Antenna Construction EMC Studio v7.0 provides new advanced tools and substantial improvement of procedure for glass antenna construction. Construction of Antenna Pattern: Automatization of antenna pattern pre-processing (reduce pre-processing time from one week up to 2 hours) Full automatization of procedure required to generate discrete model for glass surface and antenna pattern (obtain guaranteed result within several minutes) Improved handling of glass antenna to assign physical properties (substantial improvement in GUI) Construction of Antenna Cables: Generation of 3D MoM model for wires passing in route tubes Construction of Antenna Pigtails: Automatic generation of wires on defined base points and length Extended Functionality for Multi Task Calculation Multi Task solution in EMC Studio v7.0 allows to use combination of fast calculation techniques (Multi Excitation Solution and Matrix Partitioning Method) for optimization and tuning purposes. Advanced GUI tools give flexible possibility to prepare simulation model and configure calculation tasks. Model Partitioning: model geometry needs to be divided into main (Base Layer) and additional parts (Additional Layers). Excitation Sets Definition: all excitations need to be combined into groups (Excitation Sets). Computational Tasks Definition: after model partitioning and excitation sets definition, all layers and sets are combined into special groups (Tasks) that form the computational tasks and can be executed in user defined sequence. Flexible Definition of Z Level for Infinite Ground Plane Very often imported geometry models intersect ground plane. For such cases model adjustment above ground can be done very easily by defining required Z level for ground plane. This way is more flexible than applying transformation operations on imported model. By default, ground plane is placed in z=0. It is possible to shift ground plane along Z axis by defining required Z Level value in Ground Properties dialog.
