Pulsonix v6.1 Build 4163

Description

The Pulsonix EDA product range has set a new standard in the electronics industry with high performance yet easy-to-learn and easy-to-use Schematic capture and PCB layout tools. Developed by a leading team of EDA professional software engineers, Pulsonix is a completely integrated Schematic and PCB tool suite designed to meet the changing needs of PCB design in the 21st century. With each new release Pulsonix has raised the bar on standards for PCB design tools, and as a result an increasing number of well known electronic equipment manufacturers have switched tools and standardised on the Pulsonix range. These customers always seek high performance software matched with superior levels of support and customer response – they found this with Pulsonix. As a certified developer under the Microsoft® Development Partner Program, Westdev is able to offer the exciting Pulsonix product suite using the very latest software writing techniques in graphics and data handling to bring you the best-in-class tools. Our developers understand the need for high quality and fast response times, their dynamism is reflected in the products and services we offer and are unparalleled anywhere in the industry. And with Version 6.1 the current release, Pulsonix is mature, stable, and brimming with advanced features. Dual Screen support With true dual screen support in Pulsonix you can run your Schematic design on one screen and review the PCB in another. Communications between the two screens is seamless: cross probing both ways between designs, forward and back annotation of the designs, and translate from Schematics to PCB. Pulsonix remembers window and dialog positions in relation to the relevant application saving you time repositioning each one on use. Full ECO Back to the Schematic Full backward PCB design changes are supported in V6.0. Any changes made to the PCB can be reflected back into the Schematic automatically. Where the PCB designer has made changes based on layout requirements, these can be automatically passed back to the Schematic enabling full design integrity of the project to be maintained at all times. This significantly reduces the process time and possibility of costly errors. Library Documenter Fully document your Pulsonix Parts libraries using the new report option in the Part Editor. All Part entities within a selected library or Part(s) are documented in detail, this includes all graphical representations of all associated footprints, Symbols and Part representations, even when alternatives are defined. All pin and gate detail is reported, as is any attribute detail defined. Rules By Area Add design constraints to specific areas of your design to add that extra design dimension when it is required. With modern BGA devices for example, spacing rules and track thicknesses within an area are defined by the manufacturer. These local rules can now be defined and adhered to during the layout process. Rules can be defined within an area, by layer and even defined within a Footprint definition for multiple use. All constraint rules are saved to your Technology file for reuse across different designs, thus maintaining company standards and saving you time recreating the rules each time. Embedded Views The embedded views option allows you to create a 'snapshot' of an area of your design. Where intricate detail is required, the embedded view will enable you to view the region and add annotation to it. The views and annotation may be exported into a text handling system or word processing package such as Microsoft® Word fro example.
