EON CAD EON CAD is one of the leading integration tools for the processing of data from CAD-systems and 3D modeling Software. It contains support for more than 120 3D/2D file formats including native support for CATIA, UG, Pro-E, STEP, Microstation, AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Alias and Maya. Interactive reduction methods with direct optical quality control permit a flexible and comprehensive data reduction with convincing visual quality of the produced model. Reductions around more than 90% of the original data volume are attainable in most of the cases. The models can be exported with EON CAD for the subsequent treatment with EON products, in addition, into formats such as 3D Studio max, Maya, STL and vrml. Additionally, many fundamental manipulations of the model are possible, as for example changing materials and textures, the removal of parts from the model or joining several models in one scene.EON CAD is delivered as a component of EON Professional. On request a separate delivery is possible.
