(Product Installation)

1) Run feko_distrib_6.3_win64
2) When prompted, select (Solver & GUI) for installation
3) When prompted, select not use this computer as a remote host
4) When prompted, select run on local machine (not cluster type)

When first run, FEKO updater will launch and attempt to update the program.
Open this updater and in the settings tab uncheck automatic updates.

Additionally when first run, a license error will be generated.
Feko attempts to use license located at (install path)Fekolicensesecfeko.dat

(Create license)

1) locate the 3 files passgen.cmd, passgen.exe and secfeko.src.

2) Edit the file secfeko.src and replace 001122334455 with your machine code (4th and 8th line). This is your 12 character mac address or you can use Hard disk serial number that FEKO is installed on (8 characters, no dashes!)

3) You can change the date and time in 2nd row, license number in 5th row and computer name in 2nd row.

4) You can also change the license term (Z) date and support term date (M) dates in the 9th row. The difference between the current date and these must not exceed 5 years.

5) Save the secfeko.src file

6) Run passgen.cmd and it will create secfeko.dat.

7) secfeko.dat contains 4 passcodes unique to this machine. By itself, this in not a valid license file to use. These codes must be pasted into the original license template.

8) Copy and paste these passcodes back into the license template found in the secfeko.src file replacing only the last row :(P: N P2: A P3: B P4: C) placeholders.

9) This file can now be saved as a valid secfeko.dat license file. And example license file is included for reference.

10) Place your license file into the directory FEKO used for license file checking, default: (install path)Fekolicensesecfeko.dat
