B&K PULSE LabShop v19.0

Description

B&K PULSE LabShop v19.0 PULSE 19, the latest version of Brüel & Kjær’s data acquisition and analysis platform, enhances the broad range of PULSE applications available for aerospace, automotive, telecommunication and industrial industries. Enhancements include: GPS synchronization PULSE Reflex 64-bit PULSE Array Acoustics Suite PULSE Sound Power Reflex Telephone Test CAE Auditioner GPS synchronization LAN-XI frames now have a built-in Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, enabling accurate synchronization of multiple front-end data acquisition systems. This allows users to distribute several data acquisition systems over a large physical area and record data, without the requirement for full data transfer capacity between stations, making it ideal for applications such as: Fly-over acoustic testing in wireless configurations Helicopter ramp testing Explosion testing where large distances are required between measurement points Underwater surveillance > LAN-XI distributed system GPS synchronisation PULSE Reflex 64-bit PULSE Reflex applications have been upgraded to native 64-bit to take advantage of the vastly increased RAM available in modern PCs with 64-bit OS, preparing us for a future where model sizes and datasets become increasingly larger. A revised Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides an enhanced user experience when managing templates, projects and databases. The new task chooser is user-configurable, enabling the creation of a customized GUI for simpler operation when only a subset of features are needed. And the new Help system provides direct access to online information including How-to videos. PULSE Array Acoustics Suite A dedicated template for full-scale wind tunnel testing has been added in PULSE 19. The yaw angle interface allows users to specify the yaw angle of a vehicle and execute automatic calculation of the beamforming map – in parallel with the vehicle surface – providing improved resolution at yaw angles different from zero. Other updates within array acoustics software include: Exclusion of extraneous noise using virtual reference techniques Calculation of 1/12th octaves PULSE Sound Power The PULSE sound power packages have been updated and renewed, offering: Type 7799 – sound power for essentially free-field environments. to support the newest editions of ISO 3744, ISO 3745 and ISO 3746. These standards are applicable to all types and sizes of noise source, such as stationary or slowly moving plant, installation, machine, component or sub-assembly. A new template for measurements on vacuum cleaners according to IEC 60704-2-1 has also been added Type 7884 – sound power for reverberation rooms. New to support ISO 3741, ISO 3743-1 and ISO 3743-2 Type 7882 – sound power using sound intensity. New to support ISO 9614-1, ISO 9614-2 and ISO 9614-3 Type 7914 – updated with wind turbine measurements IEC 61400-11 ed.3 Type 7915 – noise measurements on small wind turbines according to AWEA, BWEA and IEC Annex F
