CATIA V5 and Abaqus Requirements Use the compatibility matrix to identify supported release levels of Abaqus for CATIA V5 and Abaqus. Licensing of either the CATIA Generative Part Structural Analysis (GPS) simulation product or the AFC Complete simulation product is required as a prerequisite to run Abaqus for CATIA V5. AFC Complete comes with two separate licenses: an Abaqus for CATIA V5 license and an Abaqus for CATIA V5 Prerequisite license. Purchasing AFC Complete is the only way to obtain an Abaqus for CATIA V5 Prerequisite license. If you are using Abaqus for CATIA V5 with a license for GPS, other CATIA V5 licenses are necessary to allow access to some functionality.
