Adina system 8.5

Description

The ADINA program provides state-of-the-art capabilities for the stress analysis of solids (2D and 3D) and structures in statics and dynamics. The analysis can be linear or highly nonlinear, including effects of material nonlinearities, large deformations and contact conditions. ADINA has particular strength in contact analysis as shown here in the crush analysis of a Ford Windstar. Roof crush analysis; implicit solution, speed 12.4 mm/sec (0.05 km/hr); more about this analysis in Application Showcase. The ADINA System 8.5 program offers versatile and generally applicable finite elements for solids, trusses, beams, pipes, plates, shells and gaps. Material models for metals, soils and rocks, plastics, rubber, fabrics, wood, ceramics and concrete are available. ADINA's analysis capabilities include: dot Efficient linear analysis. dot Small and large deformations, large strains. dot Elasto-plastic, creep analysis including thermal effects. dot Buckling and post-buckling analysis. dot Contact problems in statics and dynamics. dot Iterative solver for large systems. dot Very efficient sparse solver for all analysis options. dot Substructuring in statics and dynamics. dot Addition and/or deletion of elements during analysis. dot Frequency and mode superposition. dot Response spectrum, random vibration analysis. dot Linearized buckling analysis. dot Wave propagation, shock wave analysis. dot Structural vibrations, harmonic analysis. dot Acoustic fluid-structure interaction. dot Fracture mechanics with crack propagation. dot User-supplied elements, material models and loads.
