ABAQUS for CATIA V5 integrates ABAQUS finite element analysis (FEA) technology within the CATIA V5 user environment. CATIA V5 s flexible modeling capabilities enable rapid design improvements; tight integration with the ABAQUS finite element model allows such changes to propagate to the analysis as well. The result is a complete package for deploying proven linear and nonlinear FEA simulation throughout the design process.
 The ABAQUS for CATIA V5 software prepares a CATIA V5 analysis document from which linear or nonlinear ABAQUS analyses may be performed. The ABAQUS/Standard analysis product is then used to solve the finite element analysis. The resulting ABAQUS output database can then be viewed in ABAQUS for CATIA V5.
