CSiXRevit is a plugin that can be installed in Autodesk Revit to allow the exchange of information between SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE and Autodesk Revit Structure programs. Users have full control over what model data is transferred and how that data is mapped to equivalent objects in any software. Structural modeling can be done in ETABS, SAP2000 or SAFE or in Revit and then synchronized.

It is a tool with great potential that allows the integration of all the models of the various specialties and promotes productivity among project teams. This connection supports the following processes:

1) Export of a Revit model to create a new model in SAP2000, ETABS and/or SAFE
2) Exporting a Revit model to update an existing model in SAP2000, ETABS and/or SAFE
3) Import of a model from SAP2000, ETABS and/or SAFE to create a new model in Revit
4) Import of a SAP2000, ETABS and/or SAFE model to update an existing model in Revit

These processes are easily configurable allowing full control over the type of information to import/export and greater ease in mapping any structural element before finalizing the import and/or export process.

It is an easy and dynamic process for modifying dimensions, alignments, sections and other properties in structural and architectural models.
