The new release not only enhances the workflow of ADAPT-PT, but it also combines the features of ADAPT-PT and RC into one, flexible product. This lets structural engineering firms consolidate their workflow, stay high on their learning curve for all project types, only pay for ongoing maintenance on one software, and ultimately save time and money. New features include: - One program for PT and RC strip analysis. Easily compare design approaches for the most economy of design - Windows 8 compatibility - Soft licensing option with detaching of license (RC was behind in this respect for detaching) and virtual server compatible. - DXF creation for PT and reinforcement drawing and information. - Improved segmental input for simple and efficient input of non-prismatic members. - New tabular and graphical deflection output. Includes: Sustained and Total immediate and long-term deflection output for all load cases, including live load patterns, at each design section. - Improved summary report information including force over tributary width (k/ft or kN/m) and material quantity in terms of weight/area for concrete, PT and rebar. - Improved network operability when executing files. - Improved cracked deflection calculations (i.e. hard-coded modulus of rupture instead of floating value AND correct implementation of fr reduction for two-way slabs designed to CSA code) - New active option in Recycler to use force/width entry instead of Force entry. - Effective width calculations for EC2 - Improvements to one-way shear calculations when LL skipping is active. - New options to specify uncracked/cracked design and cracking classifications for RC and PT (bonded and unbonded) - New graphical output showing crack widths for cracked designs - Other maintenance items were fixed.
