Description

RSTAB 7 represents a 3D framework program for the ambitious structural engineer that meets the requirements of modern civil engineering and mirrors the current state of art. RSTAB is the basis of a modular software system: This basic module calculates internal forces, deformations and support reactions. For the following design, add-on modules are available which account for the specific requirements of materials and codes. Due to this modular conception of the software, a package can be assembled that is tailored to individual demands. The following pages give you insight into the possibilities of RSTAB. We also advise you to install our demo version and to calculate small structures with this intuitively working program. New Graphics Core The graphics core of RSTAB 7 integrates the latest technologies. Thus, graphics cards and drivers are supported at their best. This fact has opened up the door for new visual design options in programming, supported also by Windows 7. Due to these technologies faster work in the rendered view providing a wide color range is now possible. Blocks The Block Manager has been completed by the following features: Various view options for rendering Listing load cases contained in a block Paging through single blocks Block import including loads, supports, dimensions, releases, sets of members, and formulas Saving RSTAB structure with loads as a block Local Rotation Angle for Member For asymmetric cross-sections like angles you can define an independent rotation angle for the local axes u and v. Due to the two independent local systems of coordinates, it is now possible to relate the loads as well as the internal forces to the local principal axes y/z or the cross-sectional axes u/v. Dlubal Structures in Windows All Dlubal structures are integrated into Windows, including detailed structural information: When you open or save a structure in RSTAB, a thumbnail with important information of the structure is displayed. Also in Windows Explorer a preview of Dlubal structures is available, which facilitates finding the right file.
