Overland Conveyor Belt Analyst 16.0.17.0

Description

Overland Conveyor Belt Analyst 16.0.17.0 Belt Analyst™ Suite includes an add-on to evaluate and design Horizontal Curves . Horizontally curved belt conveyors are the most advanced and complex designs beening built today. This version can also evaluate and design Pipe Conveyors with a single click. Easily compare a conventional and pipe conveyor option. The Lagging Analyst add-on is the only lagging analysis tool available in the world. Utilizing an FEA solver, this tool can predict local slip and calculate shear forces in the lagging itself. Profile Tab The biggest change in version 16 is in the input and editing of the profile. From the Profile Tab, change the far left button from Auto Return to Advanced User mode and see many new editing features. Within these Edit and Preferences tabs, you can now connect Carry and Return Points, add, visualize and edit vertical curves, detect geometry errors, work with x, y coordinates as well as with lengths and lifts, shift the conveyor original to match your AutoCAD file, add, delete or change pulleys with a single click, cut flights into multiple pieces, and watch your graphic change with every text input you make. You can also change a point or flight by dragging it with your mouse or changing in the grid. DXF Drawing Import In past versions, you were only able to import the carry side of the conveyor. Now the DXF drawing can include the head and tail drives, all carry and return flights, the take-up, trippers, extra pulleys and intermediate drives. You can import a DXF file by either clicking on File, New, the Import DXF File; or you can click the new button on the main page, and select Import Profile from a DXF File. New Buttons on Vertical Curves Tab In the vertical curves tab, the Auto and User modes as well as the Hide and Unhide buttons have been removed. Two new modes, Auto All and User All allow you to reset everything or control each vertical curve individually. The new Enable and Disable buttons on each curve gives the user complete control over which vertical curves to calculate. Case Summary Window A new tool has been added for conveyor designs with multiple cases. The user can now control all of the case dependent variables in one window. After you have added a case to your design, you can click on the Case Summary button to view all of your cases. If you click on the Case Inputs tab, you can see and change the variables for each case. Take-Up Load Ratio Checkbox There is a new checkbox in the Take-up Load Ratio window that will fix the take-up on stopping. This will be invaluable when using an automatic winch with a brake that sets on stopping. Updated Idler Analyst Idler Analyst has also been updated in version 16. It will now import your idler from Idler Analyst and update Belt Analyst with the final custom idler you desire to use including load rating and drag. Expanded Rubber Indentation Calculations Rubber indentation calculations have also been expanded in the CEMA 7 calculation method giving users the option of using Large Scale Rubber test data which may be provided by your belt supplier. Users can now create their own rubber data files for use by Belt Analyst through an Excel template. Contact us for more information on how to use this feature.
