The first pass at generating a Power Platform for ProStructures has been developed. With the PowerProStructures, the need for MicroStation or AutoCAD as a base platform will no longer be required and the program will become a self-sustained system. Layered platforms will still continue to exist for the time being and there is no long term plan to drop the AutoCAD based layered product. The PowerProStructures version has a form of the MicroStation Engine built in and so the environment for this and the MicroStation layered product should be fairly similar
