Bentley Digital Interplot 01.01.00.04

Description

Digital InterPlot Integration When Bentley Publisher and Digital InterPlot are installed on the same computer, Digital InterPlot exposes a Publisher tab on its web pages. Selecting the Publisher tab allows you to view many file types including renditions (IPARMs, APARMs, and Plot Set files) and models (DGN, DWG files). You can redline (markup) renditions and models, or you can add them to the Document Pool for Design Compare. Bentley Publisher's Redlining feature allows you to view a rendition or model and mark it up with comments or changes. Once the changes and comments are made, you can save them in digital form, and then make them accessible to other users by saving them to the Digital InterPlot Server. Design Compare allows you to see the changed, unchanged, added, and deleted graphics between two renditions (IPARMs, Plot Set file) or between two models (DGN, DWG files). Design Compare between two APARM files is not supported at the present time. Comparing milestones in a project can provide useful information, also, comparing the current state of the design and some previous version can be very useful. You can use Bentley Publisher's Administration utility to publish additional directories, or you can copy your files to directories that are already published. Enabling Optional Features with Digital InterPlot Server Bentley's Digital InterPlot is the total plotting solution for production plotting and digital plot storage and distribution. An unlimited number of users can populate the Digital InterPlot archives by submitting plots with InterPlot Client. InterPlot Client is the plot composition, generation and submission component of the InterPlot family of products. It enables users to request plots of MicroStation®, AutoCAD®, raster and Digital InterPlot files (DPR). InterPlot Client includes an interface to define a plot from within the CAD environment. The parameters of these plots are stored in an IPARM or APARM file. InterPlot Client also includes an interface that allows users to define sets of plots. The parameters of a plot set are stored in an IPS file. InterPlot Client allows IPARM, APARM, and IPS files to be quickly and easily re-plotted with the most current design changes. Bentley Publisher Web users can realize the benefits of viewing and plotting electronic InterPlot plots and plot sets that contain the most current design changes. Installing Digital InterPlot Server on the Bentley Publisher Web Server enables IPARM, APARM and IPS publishing with Bentley Publisher. The redlining features of Bentley Publisher can also be exploited with the InterPlot data types. The resulting InterPlot Redlines (RDPR) files can be imported into MicroStation to facilitate revisions to the DGN or DWG file. A setup program that installs the RDPR import feature in MicroStation can be found in the following Bentley Publisher directory. \BentleyProgramBentleyPublisherToolsdprimportinstall.exe
