Siemens Fibersim 14.1.3 NX

Description

Siemens Fibersim 14.1.3 NX Speed Design, Analysis and Manufacturing of Composite Products Fibersim 14 makes analysis, design and manufacturing of composite products faster and easier than ever before. With Fibersim 14 you can improve the accuracy of desired fiber orientations to meet analysis structural requirements and increase design optimization with improved product definition exchange between CAE and CAD. You can achieve design efficiency with automated design methods that support the development of unique ply shapes in a push-button approach. Documentation on the PTC Creo platform now provides production consistency and throughput. Eliminate errors and enable increased part optimization Zone-based CAE exchange performs optimization loops With Fibersim 14, you can easily perform optimization loops between CAE pre- and postprocessing and Fibersim with zone-based CAE exchange. The ability to exchange composite definitions between an analyst and designer ensures efficiency and eliminates errors to provide a way to achieve composite part optimization. Optimization of composite parts leads to reduced product weight, material costs and production costs. Achieve design optimization and make design changes quickly Multi-ply design method increases productivity by up to 80 percent. Fibersim 14 allows you to achieve designs and make changes faster with multi-ply – a unique, automated specification-driven design methodology. You can define specifications for material, material groups, drop-off profiles and drop-off spacing which are associated to different base shapes. The specifications manage the creation of the ply boundary geometry and definition. As a result, you can quickly make changes during the iterative design process, increasing productivity by up to 80 percent. Verify fiber orientation definitions and increase confidence in material properties The rosette compare utility allows you to compare different rosette mapping types. With Fibersim 14, you can accurately define desired fiber orientations to meet analysis structural requirements with fiber field and compare rosettes. With the fiber field rosette highlighting capability, you can visualize the mapping of the desired fiber orientation across the entire part based on the type of rosette used. To further ensure the similarity between the analyst’s desired fiber orientations and the Fibersim model, the rosette-compare utility allows you to compare different rosette mapping types. Increase design efficiency and minimize geometry creation Fill to curve with Fibersim 14 Fibersim 14 allows you to quickly create desired ply boundary geometry with fill-to-curve and extend-along-curve transitions. You can now easily achieve exact ply boundary geometry generated by automated design methodologies with these functionalities. The automated generation of transitions that meet the desired shape increases design efficiency. The fill-to-curve transition type and the extend-along-a-curve transition functionality help you achieve your desired ply shapes. Efficiently create inner mold line representation and obtain net solid Parametric surface offset technology with Fibersim 14 Fibersim 14 automatically generates a solid of the composite part net shape with parametric surface offset technology. Fibersim parametric surface offset technology creates an inner mold line (IML) surface automatically and a structured geometric framework that can be updated even when it’s modified. Fibersim 14 notifies you of design changes that affect the IML surface so updating is a push-button process. Fibersim 14 can now generate a net part solid shape from the composite design, saving days or weeks of effort.
