VERSION 7.0 PEPS OVERVIEW With more than 40.000 installations and 25 years experience of the world market, PEPS is one of the worlds leading CAD/CAM-systems. In co-operation with leading CNC-machine tool and CNC-control manufacturers, the system is continuously under development. Besides system development, consulting, system adaption, training and support we also offer network- and DNC-installations and customized solutions. We attach great importance to a detailed system consulting and comprehensive service, which contains a free telephone and mailing support. CAD-data can be imported into PEPS from all CAD-systems in a number of different formats. PEPS will use CAD-data and by intelligent postprocessors, put out error free NC-Code, including machine NC-control canned cycles. PEPS offers feature-based machining modules which allow the programming of the most complex parts within a very short time scale. Because of its Windows interface and its intuitive user guidance, the user is able to work effectively and efficiently after a very short training period. The PEPS Wire Cutting module has been developed in co-operation with leading CNC-machine tool companies and is being continuously improved with new machine functionality. The advanced capabilities of the product make PEPS the market leader. In connection with the module SolidCut CAD wireable geo- metries are recognized automatically on the 3D Solid-model and can be projected to any height. A Projection Assistant creates z-constant geometries automatically. Clamps and upper / lower heads are shown as a 3D-model. The 3D True Machine-Kinematics Simulation shows the machining with offset checks the removability, possible collisions and undercuts. Projections under a angle make a machining of variable reference heights possible. With this function a current, cylindrical collar with a constant height can be created. The conical part is created by PEPS and doesn't have to be in the design of the part. The module ruled surface pocketing makes it easier to program complex ruled surfaces and allows a machining without reject parts. Thereby parts like this can be machined unmanned.
