Description

CYPECAD is the software for reinforced concrete and steel buildings which provides the spatial analysis, structural element design, reinforcement and section edition, and construction drawings of the structure.
It carries out the analysis of three dimensional structures composed of supports and floor slabs, including their foundations, and the automatic design of reinforced concrete and steel elements.
With CYPECAD, the engineer holds a precise and efficient tool to resolve all the aspects related to the analysis of the structure of any type of concrete as well as being adapted to the latest international Codes.

Analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures made up of: columns, walls and shear walls;
concrete, steel and composite beams; joist floor slabs (generic, reinforced, prestressed, in situ, steel, and open- web),
hollow core plates, composite slabs, waffle slabs and flat slabs; mat foundations or pad footings, pile caps or foundation beams;
Integrated Metal 3D jobs (steel, aluminium and timber sections) with 6 degrees of freedom per node, including the design and optimisation of sections.

Design and analysis of three dimensional structures made up of nodes and bars, with simple and composite section design and optimisation.
Three dimensional bar structure project with steel, aluminium and wooden sections, including foundations (pad footings, pile caps, strap and tie beams) and bracing systems against lateral loads, allowing ties that work only in tension.
Joint and baseplate design for metallic structures.

Geometric generator of rigid portal frames and simple and multimple trusses. Automatic generation of wind and snow loads.
Design and optimisation of roof and lateral purlins. Exports the geometry and loads to the program Metal 3D.
Analysis, check and design of reinforced concrete retaining walls with their corresponding strip foundation (footing or pile cap).
The analysis includes applied seismic loading and global stability check (slip circle).

Analysis, design, and Code check of embedded retaining walls. The types of walls available are the following:
· Generic material.
· Concrete slurry, reinforced by panels.
· Reinforced concrete secant piles.
· Mini piles.
· Steel sheet piles.
Different types of support elements (active and passive).

Design and check of reinforced concrete box culverts, rectangular or trapezoidal, single or multiple cell, enabling crossings below
roads and drainage works. Free polygonal outline on plan and section.
